The Acting Program At...

The Department of Dance and Theatre, a community of artists/scholars, is passionately engaged in creating live performance, excellence in teaching, creative and critical inquiry through interactive learning and experiential practice.  We develop and promote literacy in the performing arts for students, colleagues, community and the profession.

The B.A. in Theatre offers a selection of foundations courses, encompassing all aspects of theatre. After completing this foundation, the student is free to custom-tailor subsequent coursework to create a broad general degree or to specialize. Students may choose to pursue a certification in Theatre Education.
